First ImpressionsStands at 2'11". Pure white hair, tinged with gold, kept short. Long ears decorated by golden earrings. Wears a gold eyepatch over his right eye, which is milky blind. Beneath the eyepatch, scarred skin - as if from a chemical burn - is visible. A soft voice that rarely rises in volume. Outside the heat of battle, he seems to have trouble maintaining eye contact. For a Lalafell, he has a toned body type indicating an adventurer's lifestyle. Smells of pack animals, if he's been traveling; incense if not. When Esteem is influencing him, he speaks with a more assertive and snide attitude.
Personality
It's easy to overlook Sasavachi. A soft-spoken, withdrawn man, he prefers to remain on the sidelines where the spotlight can't reach him. When one thinks of a Warrior of Light, they'd be hard-pressed to identify this Lalafell as a hero of the realm. He will almost always choose isolation over company, the wilderness over crowds. He's always careful to be polite - a habit beaten into him thanks to his 'mentor,' enforced by serving as a bodyguard to Ul'dah's religious elite. There's a hesitancy whenever he speaks, as if he isn't certain whether his words will be well-received.
Beneath his quiet shell, however, is a fierce desire to for atonement. Sasavachi believes himself tainted by his time in the Hammer Beaks and frequently refers to himself as a boy who was forged into a bloody sword (edgy!) He fervently wishes to reunite with his deceased parents. He will not accept an end before he feels that he's justified his place in the afterlife - a sentiment that's changed little even after startling revelations. His faith helped him cling to life, and he remains deeply religious still.
There is a stubbornness, too, partially nurtured by Esteem's influence. Once Sasavachi sets his mind to something, he will not easily relinquish it from his grasp. This stubbornness can also be seen in his near unconditional devotion towards his close friends and loved ones - almost nothing can shake his loyalty and confidence, once they've been earned. On the other hand, his cynicism towards humanity is great. It's difficult for Sasavachi to open up to most people, given his difficult upbringing and past traumas. He's seen the best of the best - but he's hard-pressed to forget the worst of the worst.

History
Born to a nomadic Lalafellin family, Sasavachi was the only child to a Nymian scholar and a disillusioned priest of Nald'thal. His earliest memories were of the road, his heart shaped by the teachings of his parents' sect. He was a quiet and devout child content with a life of constant travel.
Then came the Calamity, robbing him of his peaceful life. Sasavachi was 'rescued' by Baidar, a bandit possessing the Echo, who saw herself in him. For four long years, he was put through rigorous abuse disguised as training, only to be abandoned in Ul'dah by Baidar once her fellow brigands began vying among each other for power. When the Scions found Sasavachi, he was a sullen and aloof sellsword under the Order of Nald'thal's employ, a wounded young man hesitant to return to the world.
Much has changed since then. Although Sasavachi remains distant, he has regained his love and wonder for travel. He hesitates to open up to new people and shies away from the grandeur of fame, preferring to work among animals and nature. He's happiest making music and collecting stories.

Canon Notes
Single WOL vs. Multiple WOLs
I can play Sasa in two ways: canon-compliant, where only one Warrior of Light exists, or canon-divergent, where there are multiple Warriors of Light. I'll always ask which you prefer.
